Patricia Ann Winter

March 07, 1962 - December 18, 2021

Patricia Ann Winter (Fowler)

Patty was born on March 7, 1962, to Dan and Bettie Fowler, in Denver, CO.  She attended and graduated from Smokey Hill High School. She spent most of her working life as office manager, bookkeeper, general office staff and did taxes for others during tax time. She and her husband were avid bowlers until she was unable to bowl anymore., but she kept tabs on her bowling friends as she still went to the bowling alley with her husband.

Patty was a fun loving, kind hearted soul who would do anything for anyone if she could.  If you were her friend, you were her friend forever.  She liked to tell stories on her siblings and her laughter could be contagious.  You never knew what was going to come out of her mouth!  She might start a sing-along during her knit group and try to everyone going.  She could be a clown, when she wanted to, like putting a knitted bag on her head and stating it was a better bag than hat.  Then there was her cell phone, it was just like her , you never knew what strange noise or sound would come from it. A silly song for her ring tone or a cat meowing when she received a text message.  She loved her family and friends passionately.

Today she lost her battle with that evil virus Covid.  She fought hard but given her underlying health issues her body just couldn't recover.

Patty is survived by her husband Richard Winter, her son Daniel(Brittany) Winter, granddaughters Hazel and Olive Winter and grandson Max Winter and her mother Bettie Fowler and her mother's twin Mary Lou McCormick.  She is also survived by her two sisters Saundra Fowler and Carol (Michael) Britton, sister-n-law Paula Dickinson and mother-in-law Shirley Winter and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and  nephews.  We cannot leave out her cats Gibbs and Duckie, she loved animals with a passion too.  She also leaves behind her beloved knit group who were the recipients of a lot of her humor and oh yes, the cell phone too.

Patty was proceeded in death by her father Dan Fowler, brothers Mark Allen and Thomas Lee.  In lieu of flowers please plant a tree in her name or donate to an animal rescue.
