Mildred "Millie" Leader-Parker

March 07, 1928 - March 01, 2022

Mildred "Millie" Leader-Parker had a zest for life that inspired countless memories and smiles. She died at her home at Neshaminy Manor on March 1st, 2022 at the age of 93.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, she graduated from City College and moved with her husband, Walt, and young son, Mark, to New Jersey, eventually settling in Teaneck.

She built a beautiful life centered around family and friends, never losing her love for New York.

She met her second love, Frederick, during her many travels.  They had a true love story and would travel through life together as husband and wife for the next 15 years, living
bi-coastal between her America and his England.  They lived in Bloomfield, New Jersey for 15 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda, and granddaughter, Samantha, as well many nephews and nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces.

Her extended family included all those at Neshaminy Manor who she cherished, telling them she loved them daily.

She was preceded in death by her son Mark, her husband Frederick, one sister and two brothers.

Her laughter, love of life and her art for "telling it like it is" in her loving, sassy-way made the world a better place.   She will be missed by everyone she touched and is always in our thoughts.

Family and friends are invited to attend Millie’s graveside memorial service at Doylestown Cemetery, 215 East Court Street, Doylestown, PA  18901 on Saturday, March 5th, 2022 promptly at 10:00am.  Any additional questions regarding these arrangements can be directed to the Donahue Funeral Home, Flourtown, PA  215-348-9421.
