August 16, 1966 - March 10, 2022

Ronald Luke Moore, a veteran of the U.S. Army, was called home to be with his savior on March 10th, 2022.  Ronald passed of natural causes, with his loving wife, Sue, and their therapy fur baby Ruben by his bedside, along with his family in Tucson, Arizona. The son of Mr James (Jim) Sr. and Mrs (Joyce) Moore Ronald Moore grew up in Anchorage, Alaska. He was born August 16th, 1966, at Providence Hospital and attended Anchorage grade school, as well as West Anchorage High. He is survived by his brother, James (Jim) Moore Jr. and Jim’s wife, Kate. He is remembered as a wonderful father to four adult children, Jessica, Daniel, Courtney, and Rose. Ronald Moore enlisted in the U.S. Army on 11/29/86, as a food service specialist. Ron was promoted to Sergeant on March 1st, 1990, while spending 2 years 5 months and 26 days overseas. He spent that time in the Sinai Desert as a member of the (MFO)Multinational Forward Observers with the 9th Infantry Division. His awards included 2 Army Achievement medals and the Army good conduct medal. Ron fought hard for the United States of America Army and received an honorable discharge on 12/14/1991. He moved to Tucson in 2007 and in 2020 married the love of his life, Sue (Muench) Moore. The family and friends from all over, from Arizona to Alaska, will remember Ron with an awesome, funny, and infectious personality. Thanks to the Senior Helpers and Dependable Hospice for the wonderful care he received during his final stages. 
 
A military service honoring the life of Ronald Luke Moore was held at New Life Bible Fellowship on March 23rd, 2022, at 2 p.m. Sue and family appreciated all the support as well as the beautiful flowers received during the Memorial at New Life in honor of Ron and the support still given during this time of this grieving process. This summer, an Alaska memorial service will be held in Anchorage, Alaska. His final resting place will be located at Angelus Memorial Park next to his grandma in the family plot.
