Veronica Antoinette Stevens

September 21, 1969 - April 15, 2022

Veronica Stevens blessed us with her presence on September 21, 1969. Our Savior recalled his angel back home April 15, 2022.
She was born is Casa Grande, Arizona to Luisa & Ray Ortiz. She's their eldest daughter. Even though she was born in a small town of Arizona, her life journey took her all over the west coast. The end of her journey was in the central valley, Fresno.
Her beautiful soul and infectious smile touched the hearts of hundreds of people. She met so many people with the work she's done. If you didn't know Veronica, she was a hairstyles and got her start in Hanford, CA. You might remember her salon at Jon Ver. Man the things this woman could do. She would travel to hair shows all over the valley with her then husband Johnny Balderas.
Veronica was known for being the glue of her family. Every holiday was always a big celebration. She also always went all out for her son's birthday parties. She always made you so welcome, not matter what others opinion were of you. She held no grudges. She was the definition of a beautiful person. Veronica is proceed in death by her abuelo, Gilbert Benavidez and two beautiful angel babies. She's survived by her grandma Julia Benavidez, her mother Luisa Flores, her brother Edward Ortiz, sister Jessica Flores and her only son Johnathon Balderas, his wife Erika and Veronica's grandchildren Evan, Kalea and Daniel. She's also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins aunts, uncles and many many many friends.
