Luella M. Eckert (nee Perry), known as "Lue" by her friends and family, former long time resident of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, November 13, 2020. She was born on Friday, November 5, 1926 in Pana, Illinois, one of two daughters born to LeRoy and Nita (nee Hartman) Perry.
Luella was the beloved wife of the late Stanley L. Eckert; loving mother of David P. Eckert, Robyn D. (Roger) Aeschleman and Michael Jay (Karen) Eckert; cherished grandmother of Melissa (Marc) Baltes, Sheila (Dominic) Giuliani, Christopher Eckert, Alexander Wessel (friend, Marie), Molly (James) Bisbee, Adam (Amaelia) Eckert, Scott Eckert, Brian (Britlin) Eckert and Sarah Eckert; dearest great-grandmother of Ezekiel Baltes, Asa Baltes, Luca Giuliani, Marion "Milly" Giuliani, Katarina Eckert, Evelyn Bisbee, Olivia Bisbee and expected Baby Eckert; dear sister of the late Rosalyn (late Julio) Pellegrini; a dear aunt, cousin and friend.

Luella was a beautician and continued working into her late 80's. She enjoyed collecting things and had an extensive button collection. She stayed in her own home until the last few years when she lived with her daughter for a while and then at the Charter Senior Living in St. Louis Hills. She was cherished by her family and will be dearly missed.

Services: Luella will be privately laid to rest with her family in Rosemond Grove Cemetery, Rosamond, Illinois.

Memorials: Luella suggested that donations in her memory be made to a charity of your own choice.
