Michael Rowe

September 04, 1943 - November 19, 2020

Mike was a man of many passions.  Whether motorcycling, fly fishing, playing tennis or pickleball, hiking, traveling or serving his community and church, Mike did it with a big smile on his face.  Mike was a Wildcat earning his BA and Masters at the U of A.  Known forever as “Mr. Rowe,” he taught and coached tennis at CDO for 25 years.  Afterwards he made people more secure as a financial planner for 10 years.  Mike is survived by his wife of almost 57 years, Janet, and by his two children, four grandchildren, his beloved mother-in-law, siblings and a loving extended family. Mike made everyone with whom came in contact better.

Robert Stephen Browning I could not be more upset that I just heard of his passing earlier today. What a loss. My heart goes out to his widow Janet and their entire family. A great shock, indeed.

Randy Hotchkiss Mike Rowe was probably the nicest, kindest man I have ever known. He never had an unkind comment about anyone and always had a big smile -Kathy and I will miss him dearly. Janet my dear niece can always call me when ever she needs a shoulder to lean on Randy Hotchkiss
