Francis X Steffe

December 12, 2020 - July 10, 1927

Francis Xavier Steffe formally of Ocean City, NJ died on December 12, 2020 at Christ’s Home in Warminster, PA he was 93.  Frank was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late George Steffe and Jennie C. nee: Lippl, Steffe.  in the Loga section of the city.

Frank graduated from Roman Catholic High School.  He joined the Navy after High School in 1945 and received the World Warr II Victory Medal.  Upon his return home from the Navy Frank completed his CPA Accounting Degree at Villanova University.   He enjoyed a career with Libby’s Foods and Pincus Brothers – Maxwell   in Philadelphia, PA until his retirement and residing in Ocean City, NJ.

Frank was the beloved brother to the late JaneDiSipio (Anthony), George Steffe (Barbara) and Marie Donahue (Philip).    Frank is survived by his sister Dolores (Dolly) Joson (the late Raymond) of Haverford and Joseph Steffe (Dorothy) of Warminster.  Frank will be dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews their spouse and children.

Frank had a passion for music and had a wonderful voice to flaunt.  In times when words had been lost, he would sing you a song from Frank Sinatra or one of his other favorite artists.  It was perfectly said in a condolence from a dear friend, “Frank has gone home in time to try out for the Angelic Christmas Choir”.

We are most grateful for the exceptional care Frank received over these past few years from Christ’s Home, Warminster and at the time of need the care from Caring Hospice In Fort Washington, PA.

Family will receive relatives and friends of Monday, December 28th, 2020 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 235 East State Street, Doylestown, PA  18901 followed by Frank’s Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM.  Interment will immediately follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 W. Cheltenham Avenue, Glenside, PA  19150.  A live stream of the mass is at  www.joinobit.com.  Masks are required and social distancing is encouraged.
