Thomas James Zolla

September 22, 1959 - May 13, 2024

Thomas (Tommy) Zolla, passed away in May 2024.
Tommy was a no frills kind of guy who rode the wave of life running off warm Pepsi, cigarettes and the love anyone was willing to spare.
Best known as an involuntary stunt man in his youth, pit crew team, lover of music & and exceptional bass player, fan of Formula 1 racing, passion for cooking and youthful appreciation for something as simple as a slice of cheesecake.
The late father to an old rusted and beat up motorcycle "Mad Max" held together with duct tape and a prayer he enjoyed the wind blowing through his hair and sunshine on his face.
Youngest of three brothers and growing up with them in Coronado was among Tommy's cherished memories along with working alongside his brother Billy of Zolla Guitars building instruments, and creating various other fine craftsman projects.
Tommy continued through life with the support of his family and friends through his best and most challenging years.
Given the opportunities to pay it forward, or just to hold space for anyone that needed it, Tommy rose to the occasion with his acts of indiscriminate kindness, deep love and compassion.
The legacy he leaves is one of love and compassion.
In his time on this Earth he had touched many of us with his kind soul and taught us through his most basic of being human, the importance of  "To love and be loved", without barriers.
