Luke Augenstein, born Luther Ralph Augenstein Jr., on August 3, 1951, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 24, 2024. He is survived by his beloved wife Patti, sister Marie Wright, his children Luther the III and wife Amy Augenstein, Julia McCorkell, and Ashley Augenstein, and his cherished grandchildren, Chase, Dakota, and Shyanne Augenstein; Sean and Connor McCorkell and Connor's wife, Marcine Smit-McCorkell; and Maya and Theo Chen-Augenstein.

Luke was a dedicated family man and a passionate computer programmer. His career spanned several decades and included positions at prominent companies such as Diner's Club, Colorado Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Baptist Hospital, and United Airlines. He also enjoyed playing Santa Claus, bringing joy to many during the holiday season.
