Sheila Melvin Kovalcin, 74, of San Marcos CA, passed onto her next chapter October 20th, 2025.
Sheila was an amazing woman. She tackled life one day at a time and never let anything stop her. Sheila did so many things in her long life. From the first refrigerator repair woman Sears hired at their San Marcos location. To owning her small business Stoned on Stones. She always, persistently danced when she felt the need.
She changed paths often and never worried because she had her own vision of who she was and what she wanted in life. She and her husband even spent a few years driving their big rig across the country until she decided to grow roots. She lived in the moment and never acted her age.
Sheila has joined her husband, Raven; her parents Anita & Lloyd; and her sister Sheri.
She is survived by her daughters Renae, Lorella, Michelle, and Shalena. Her 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and siblings Rodney, Gregory, Burton, and Shawna.
