Arlene Schneider of Portland, Oregon passed away peacefully on October 22 2025.

BACKGROUND WORK HISTORY

Arlene was born in Milwaukee, WI on June, 19, 1937 to Charles and Marie Halamka. Immediately following high school graduation, Arlene joined the United States Air Force. At all of 5 feet 2 inches tall, she really had to stretch to meet the height requirement! She served until she married and started her family. Arlene was most proud of the business she and her husband owned prior to retirement.

OTHER INTERESTS ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Arlene was an accomplished bowler and loved to watched the Pro Bowler's Tour every Saturday. In her older years she was even champion of the WII Bowling group at her senior living complex. She also loved to play cribbage and was known to boast about winning!  Arlene was also social butterfly and made life long friends wherever she went.

SURVIVORS

Arlene was preceded in death by the love of her life Stuart Schneider. She is survived by her children Vicki Routon (Randy), Sandy MacDuffee (Mike), Bobby Hartling (Lynn) and Myrna Choat (Lowell). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and  six great grandchildren.
