He was a small business owner for a home repair company named, DeMay’s Home Repair. Which was perfect for him since he was a man of all trades. If he didn’t know how to fix something, he found out how to. He was a loyal member of the Moose where he organized and participated in charity events and fundraisers for his community and spent his off time either playing in their pool tournament or calling bingo. He loved taking rides on his motorcycle as often as he could. His favorite route to take was down Highway 83. He always said he was the happiest when on his bike. He loved spending time with his father, George DeMay. Either fishing, working on cars or just hanging out in the shop together. Gerald would help anyone who needed it and never hesitated to drop what he was doing to go and help a friend who was stuck in the mud in the desert or go and help replace parts on a vehicle or take off in the middle of the night to go and rescue a friend in another state who was broke down on the side of the freeway. He was very caring and selfless. His favorite band was Lynyrd Skynyrd, and he played music as often as he could. He always tried to do the right thing no matter the circumstances.

He was loved by so many and will be missed by many more. No one can ever replace him or the big heart he wore on his sleeve.
