Miguel Angel Alban

April 03, 1991 - September 22, 2021

Miguel Angel Alban of Montclair, California passed away in Montclair, on September 22, 2021.

Miguel was born in Los Angeles, California on April 3rd, 1991, to Angel Alban and Teresa Campos. While Miguel was raised mostly in the San Fernando Valley, in the North Hollywood area, he moved with his family to Florida in 2004 and attended Cypress Bay Highschool and participated in JROTC. Ultimately, he found his passion in cooking and worked in a variety of fields until finding his true passion, cooking in retirement homes. He most recently worked at Sunrise Living as their Executive Chef and Dining Services Coordinator. He always talked about how he loved being able to combine his love for cooking with the wholistic approach of recovery for all the residents. He wanted to make a difference and no doubt he did.

When he wasn’t working in the kitchen and caring for the residents, Miguel loved spending time with his family, including his niece and nephew. Miguel was a huge sports fan with a particular love for the Lakers and would never miss a game. Miguel had a huge love for Kobe Bryant and his passion and drive for the game, not to mention the loyalty. He also enjoyed watching reruns of his favorite shows like The Office, Scrubs, and Sons of Anarchy. Miguel had a great sense of humor and was often sharing funny videos, making jokes, or laughing. Always a family man, Miguel was a great son and sibling always present when needed and providing anything he could. A bigger heart could not exist.

He is survived by his mother, Teresa Campos, his siblings, Connie Alban, Elisa Alban, and Jason Acosta.  He is joining his father in heaven, Angel Alban.

If you would like to attend the Celebration of Miguel’s life, please RSVP to 909-450-4513.
