Albert J Millbrandt, age 77, died suddenly and too soon on December 26, 2021. He was born in Tucson on November 24, 1944, to Frances and Albert Millbrandt Sr., recent emigres from the cold winters of Chicago. Albert graduated from Salpointe High School and the University of Arizona, and spent a career in the social services profession, tending the needs of underprivileged and disadvantaged fellow citizens living on the margins of society. He never fully retired from the business of caring for those born in to less fortunate circumstances. He was a kind and gentle soul, and a beloved brother of his only survivors, sisters Karen Smith (Mike) of Tucson and Barbara Sherman (Bob) of Gold Canyon, AZ, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. He leaves behind an ample legacy of friends, coworkers and acquaintances who will miss his casual demeanor and giving spirit. He will be laid to eternal rest near his parents at Holy Hope cemetery in Tucson. We will pray for him and miss him all the days of our lives.
