Charles Henry Fay, 61, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away suddenly on December 22, 2021. He was born October 9, 1960 in Chardon, Ohio to Bernard and Catherine Fay. He moved to Tucson in 1987 and has been a Tucsonan ever since.
Charlie was charismatic, often able to strike up a conversation with anyone he met. He was a loving father and grandfather and spent most of his weekends with family, playing board games. He was full of historic facts that no one else would know during trivia games. When not with family he enjoyed going to estate sales and yard sales and had a proud collection of Hot Wheels. Charlie spent his career as a carpet cleaner, first for a local company and eventually opened his own business – Doctor Carpet of Tucson. Charlie was known as the family handyman and would never hesitate to help however he could. He will be deeply missed and remembered by his family and friends alike.
Charlie is survived by Heidi Fay, his three sons; Timothy, Benjamin (Elizabeth), and Nicholas, as well as his two grandchildren; Mylo and Mia.
A remembrance ceremony will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Avenidas Cremation & Burial.
