Freddy R Valencia

October 22, 1959 - January 05, 2022

On January 5, 2022 Freddy passed away at home in Tucson, AZ where he was born and raised.

Freddy was a General Contractor by trade and was a project leader in the home building business over the span of his life. He also spent many years working in the Tejano music scene working as a concert promoter. Tejano music was something he absolutely loved, was passionate about and found true joy in. As many know, he built a life long friendship/brotherhood with Little Joe and his brothers, and along the way made many more long term friends in the Tejano music circuit.

Freddy is survived by his two sisters Sylvia Valencia, Maryann Briones (Valencia) and one brother Walter Valencia (Jo Ann) He had many nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren.

He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

Fly free and know that “One sweet day” we will meet again….

Condolences 1

Dr. Delgado My deepest condolences for the passing of Freddy, he was a great man and a very close friend of mine... He will be missed in many ways, from the hope and faith he instilled in the people he knew, to the love and sense of family feeling he gave me as a brother. He was a special man, and even though like all of us he wasn't perfect, he was someone I looked up to and loved... I'll miss him dearly but I'm sure we'll meet again some day... All my love, strength and support to all of his family... and to Freddy, keep up with the Tejano music over there, now you're with the big guys! God bless you brother!
