Bobby C Smith

September 25, 1963 - January 09, 2022

Bobby Charles Smith has found the kingdom of the Lord on January 9, 2022, at the age of 58, in Tucson, AZ. He was a compassionate man and a loving dad with a enthusiastic attitude for the Philadelphia Eagles. If his team won, he would get up and dance with his wife; however, if his team lost, you’d be surprised, but he wouldn’t talk to his wife for 2 to 3 days. Every morning, he would always tell his daughter this phrase, “The Lord gave us another beautiful day, and we are on our way to enjoy another beautiful day.”

His surviving family includes Emelda and Sevilla Smith along with his first family, Josephine Jarlego, and her children:Roshawn Smith (Deceased), Naundria Hale, Khia Preston, Ramesh Smith, Jameela Smith, and all of the grandchildren. The family also consists of his biological mom, Ann Colter, his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and other close relatives. Bobby Charles Smith was very devoted towards his Church Community, the “Holy Trinity Church”, located in San Bernardino,California with his Pastors/Mentors Dr. E. S. Morgan, Sister Shirely Morgan (Deceased), and Dr. M. W. Gray (Deceased).

Bobby Charles Smith attended Pima Community College and Tucson College during his younger years. His last job was at the Department of Child and Safety, and he was really proud and excited for this chapter of his life. Before he was found by the Kingdom of God, he told his family about how excited to enjoy his retirement soon. Bobby Charles Smith love all the verses in the Bible. He studied the Bible for most of his life. The latest passages he read, before he went to the hospital, was Psalm 22 which reads, “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me, and from the words of my roaring?” O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season and am not silent.” He also read Revelations 19 which states, “After these things I heard a great voice of people in heaven, saying, Alleluia: salvation, and glory, and honor, and power, unto the Lord our God.” We are going to miss him as well as anyone who had a special place in his heart.

Kathryn Jarva I had the privilege of working with Bobby for the last several years. We did not see one another too much but I always looked forward to seeing him. Just seeing him smile and hearing him say "Hi Miss Kathy" filled my heart with joy. He always had a positive attitude and worked hard in everything he did. My deepest sympathy to his entire family. He will be very much missed. May the Lord provide them strength.

When I would walk into the welcome center we’d yell his name and with the biggest smile he would say “dream team”. My thoughts and prayers are with his whole family.. especially his daughter who he spoke so highly of. We all miss him dearly💙
