David Ruben Figueroa, 69, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on January 21, 2022.  He was born on July 27, 1952, in Tucson, to Fred & Lazara (Hernandez) Figueroa.  David was a General Contractor and was a member of the Tucson Tabernacle.  His battle with medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life’s challenges.  Despite these obstacles, David stayed strong and fought until the end!  David was very proud of his work, and building houses was his pride and joy. He was also a true Cardinal’s fan and loved watching his cowboy movies.  David very much enjoyed spending time with family and talking on the phone with them, especially everyone’s favorite part, repeating over and over his famous jokes.

David is survived to cherish his memory by his wife of 35 years, Martha (Grijalva); 1 daughter, Yesenia (Roman); 3 sons, Abraham (Mina), David Jr (Marissa), and Sergio (Mayela); his father and step-mother, Fred and Virginia; 5 sisters, Mary Ann, Ruby, Marilyn, Christine, and Becky; 9 grandchildren, Michael, Emily, Bethany, Lisa, Amanda, Armando, David III, Sergio, and Camila; and also 3 great-grandchildren, Jesus, Diego, and Charlie.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Lazara; and also 2 brothers, Freddy and David Fred.

Services will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Tucson Tabernacle, located at 2555 North Stone Avenue in Tucson.  Visitation will begin at 10:00am, with Funeral Service to begin at 11:00am.  A Celebration of Life will follow the services, 1:00pm-4:00pm.  Masks will be required for all guests.
