George Christopher Stoll, 78

Passed away on the morning of February 21, 2022, after a sudden illness .  Chris was born in Chicago on September 19, 1943 to Wilbert and Dolores (Klein) Stoll. 

He moved to California in 1968 after graduating from Georgetown University and Northwestern University, School of Law.  Chris worked for Judge Carter, then he began working for the US Attorney’s Office, Northern District of California until his retirement.   

Chris was an avid reader, loving history, he enjoyed sharing his knowledge of family history with nieces and nephews. He enjoyed many summers with his family at Lac du Flambeau, WI, he took many cruises and especially loved traveling the world.    

He was a member of Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in San Francisco, California.

Chris was pre deceased by his parents, and his brother Jack Stoll.  He is survived by his sister Charlotte Johnson of Rockford, Illinois, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mass Service Saturday March 5,  2022 at 5:00 p.m.  Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church 100 Diamond Street San Francisco, CA with Father Matt Link celebrating.

Burial in Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
