Craig Dale Lorenzen, 62, passed on May 18, 2022. He was born to Vernon Dale Lorenzen and Arlou Ann Lorenzen (Batterman) in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on December 17, 1959.
He married Ann Louise Mielke in 2005 and they lived together in Dayton, Minnesota.
Craig worked as a hired hand farming both in South Dakota and Texas, commercial crab fisherman in Baffin Bay Texas, mail clerk and a little bit of everything else and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.
Risco was an avid gun collector and a motorcycle enthusiast, he was also a lifetime member of the NRA. To pass the time he enjoyed old nostalgic television shows, he didn't require Roku, Hulu or anything other than basic TV. Craig was an amazing listener and gave sound advice when it was requested.
Preceded in death by his brother, Rodney Alan, his wife Ann Mielke and Father Vernon Dale, grandparents Frank and Carrie Lorenzen, Leonard and Wilma Batterman.
Craig will be deeply missed by his mother, Arlou (Batterman) Lorenzen, his sister Melody (David) Lindhag, his sister Karen Lorenzen, son Matthew Kurzhal, grandson Tre Kurzhal, nieces and nephews Elizabeth Whittaker, Nick (Ira) Lindhag, Holly (Josh) Judisch, Adam (Sarah) Krone. Great nieces Lydia and Kiera Judisch, Emma Whittaker, Maia Lindhag, Lily and great nephew Henry Krone. Daughters Jenny (Adam) Madsen-Mielke and Beth (Kenny) Pearson, granddaughters Corissa and Emma Mielke, Katie Pearson, grandsons AJ and Aidan, William, Jonny, Charlie as well as many family members and dear friends.
