Her life began in struggle when she was born premature in South Bend Indiana. The doctors said she would probably never live into her teen years. Well, she showed them. She enjoyed many loves in her life. Family, friends, lovers, art, crafts, reading and music. No matter where she went, you could feel the enjoyment and love that she brought to the world. Between her sister Jackie, her children Crystal and Michael, her granddaughter Synthia and many of her family and friends, she will be rejoiced and missed but she will always be with us.
Poem for Mom
I didn't lose my mother,
I know just where she went.
I get to feel her soul,
Even though her body's spent.
I see her every night,
As I sleep and dream away.
And she hugs me every morning,
As she wishes me good day.
I know she's all around me,
In the land and sky and sea.
Because from all her love in life,
She became pure energy.
