Thomas Raymond Copley, of Tucson, Arizona, has passed on to Glory at the age of 65, on August 31, 2022 after a long illness.
Tom was born in Wooster, Ohio, to Thomas and Maxine Copley on January 27, 1957. Since childhood he has always enjoyed being outdoors. He participated in 4-H and FFA in school. He went to the local JVS for Agricultural Industrial Mechanics and loved working with his hands. His jobs were always outdoor ones, from putting up fences, siding houses to oil rigging and truck driving. He collected Native American arrowheads and tried his hand at carving some of his own. He was interested in woodworking as well and made several projects for friends and family out of salvaged wood. He was a kind soul and will always be remembered for his love of fishing and the big smile on his face!
He is survived by his son, Zachary Copley (Savannah); stepdaughter, Samantha Callahan (Mike) and their son, Drew; stepson, Ryan Mersheron (Melissa) and their son, Benjamin, all of Arizona; a sister, Kathy Caywood (Jerry) of Ohio; a brother, Ed Copley (Morrisa) of Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews in several states.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sonya Copley; and a brother, Jerry Evans.
Tom was loved and will be missed by friends and family in the different states where he had lived.
In lieu of flowers, please gather your friends and family around you, enjoy their company and think of Tom. <3
