It is with great sadness that I announce the sudden death of my brother, Jack Hopwood Pemberton, Jr. on Sunday, September 25, 2022. Jack was born at the Stork's Nest in Tucson, Arizona, on January 17, 1940 to Jack Sr and Leticia Robles Pemberton, who were pioneer Tucson families. He graduated from Tucson High and attended the University of Arizona. He served in the Air Force. In Tucson, he worked for Fairfield in Green Valley and then worked for Pima County in Tucson until his retirement.
Jack had many friends and was known for making his coffee rounds in the morning. He had a wicked sense of humor.
Jack is survived by sister, Sandra Jake; niece, Jorgiana Jake; brother-in-law, John F. Jake; cousins, Czarina Sonesen of Phoenix, Yolanda Clow of Newman Lake, WA, Kris Robles of Tucson, Elsa Sheehan of Tucson, and devoted friend, Minerva Taylor of Tucson.
Instead of flowers, please donate to Gospel Rescue Mission of Tucson or Pima Animal Care Center.
