LaVelle A. Adair of Concord, California, sadly passed away on September 3, 2022, surrounded by family. He was only 40 years old. The family is both devastated and shocked by his death.
LaVelle was born on February 17, 1982. He had a contagious smile and the heartiest laugh. As a youth, he had a vivid imagination and was an avid collector of baseball cards. LaVelle had a beautiful voice and loved singing and music, which is only surpassed by his unconditional love for his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
LaVelle is survived by his mother, Brenda Verrett, three sisters, LaKisha Mellor, LaKnesha and LaTasha Mitchell, and 11 nieces and nephews, whom he affectionately called “Rugrats” - Ajia, Mariah, Jeremiah, Trrail (Bobby), Eli, Isiah, Zoey, Ivy, Madison, Skylar, and Sage.
Everyone who met LaVelle commented on his sweet and kind disposition. And, although he endured a tragic life, these experiences did not change his essence. LaVelle lived his life by affording all he encountered with respect and dignity.
He will be missed by his family.
