It is with a heavy heart that I am writing that Barbara passed away at 2:13 am on November 7, 2022 – it was her 73rd Birthday.

 

While in the hospital, we had many chats - most of them were about our family, friends and our life enents, and memories with laughter and sometimes tears. She was devoted to her family and friends – to her, there was no real distinctions of "friends" they were all family, just with different last names. She loved life, people of all ages and backgrounds and gave as much of herself to strangers as her “family”.

 

I thank all of our family and friends for caring so much for and about her – it made her happy and in return, gave her wings to live life to the fullest. Thank all of you for loving her and, in that process, accepting me to be a part of all of it.
