Dean Charles Schoborg Sr.

January 11, 1941 - November 07, 2022

Dean Charles Schoborg Sr. passed away peacefully in his sleep, on November 7th, 2022, at Rancho Murieta, CA.  Born in Marshalltown, Iowa, on January 11th, 1941, to parents Leo and Teresa (Kopel) Schoborg.  He was 81 yrs. old, and the last surviving member of his birth family.  His two brothers, Earl and Terry Schoborg, preceded him in death.

He loved serving as an altar boy in his local Catholic Church, and his little Terrier dog Boy.
Coming to California when he was 14 yrs. old, he attended Anaheim High School, where he was a varsity swimmer and water polo player.  He was team captain and set records that stood for many years.  Anaheim High is also where he met his high school sweetheart Beverly (Pierce) Schoborg.  After marriage, they settled in the San Fernando Valley, where they had their first child, and where Dean worked for Litton Industries, manufacturing Printed Circuit Boards.  Chosen as part of a team to open a new facility, in Springfield, Missouri, a new adventure began.

Six years later and two more children, it was back to California and the Silicon Valley. After a few years Dean decided it was time to be his own boss and opened one of the early Printed Circuit Board Companies, Data Circuit Systems, which is still in business today.

He loved hunting and sports, but his true love was golfing, especially if it was at Pine Mr. Lake, in Groveland, CA, where he had a home on the golf course.  Dean overcame many obstacles, having lost both of his legs about 16 years ago.  Dean had more determination than most, and never complained about the pain he was in.  He will always be missed and forever in our hearts.

Dean leaves behind his previous wife of 41 years, Beverly, and his beloved children, Daughters, Debra (Michael) Flashman, and Melissa Schoborg.  Son's, Todd Schoborg, and Dean Schoborg Jr.  Papa to Granddaughters, Renee Hill and Victoria Presley.  Great-Grandchildren, Tyler Fullerton, Kaitlyn Hill, Brayden Presley, Nicholas Riley, Elijah Riley, and Nieces and Nephews.
