My papa n I did not have a long time together since we had reconnected but it was quality time, full of laughter, (sometimes just one sided😉) a bit of dancing n weekly visits to Vienna. It’s amazing how life has a way of bringing light back into a darkened room. Quality time was so important and was so impactful at energizing not only my papa but myself and the connectivity of family. My family was made better, stronger and became more connected by my papas time at Vienna. We will continue to hold in our hearts and minds eye the memories that brought smiles to our lips and hearts that were created through our papa Don.

Some of my earliest memories are from the home in Manteca. My condolences and love to the whole family.

Having the support of family, friends and Dad’s amazing care team made such a truly difficult time just a little lighter. Loved my pops and miss his contagious laugh so much. I can hear him signing still in my mind and heart! 🥰

I am so grateful for the loving support of my family through Dad's final days. Being able to spend time with Dad and having the comfort of Mom and my siblings was a true blessing...one that will remain on my heart.
In addition Dad's team of professionals at Vienna Nursing in Lodi CA, Hospice of San Joaquin, Light Source for Senior Advocacy and Tulip made this difficult time more bearable with their support and guidance.
Much love to everyone for being there and for caring. May your generosity and many kindnessess return to you like "bread cast upon the waters". (Ecclesiastes 11:1)
