Ruben Rene Mendoza passed peacefully on November 11, 2022.

Ruben Mendoza of San Jose, CA passed away in Riverside, CA on the evening of November 11, 2022 after a short and hard fought battle with Alzheimer's Dementia.

Ruben was born in Nogales, Sonora Mexico on February 21, 1949 to Ricardo Arriaga and Alda Mendoza.  After spending 20+ years in Sonora and southern Arizona, Ruben moved to San Jose, CA where he worked in construction.  He gave his life to Christ later in life and began the crusade to help others understand the sacrifice the Lord made for humankind, bringing many people to Christianity.  

Paster Ruben, as many in the northern California area and other places around the world knew him, enjoyed reading the bible, being a part of a church if not leading one and spending time with his church family. He was a proud member of the Christian faith and a variety of Latino Christian organizations. 

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Mendoza, two sisters, Elizabeth Arriaga and Cristina Johnson, his nieces and nephews Lizette Davis, Estibaliz Hall, and Erica Rodriguez and his nephews, Ricardo Johnson and Hector Perez.  He was predeceased by both his parents and his sister, Lucia Arriaga.
