Ruben R. Lopez, 57, has gone to be with Lord, his loving parents, and his sister. Services will be Friday, December 9 from 4pm-6pm, with an informal gathering to follow. 

Ruben was born June 1, 1965, in Tucson, where he grew up the youngest of six siblings. 

Ruben was a Jack of all trades. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. Ruben was a joker and loved to laugh. He had an infectious laugh and an amazing storytelling ability. Ruben loved all his family deeply. Ruben’s love and faith was cultivated at an early age by his mothers devout love for Christ and that extended into his everyday life. 

He was preceded in death by his sister, Isabel, and his beloved parents Quirina R. and Ernesto F. Lopez.
 

He is survived by son Ruben (Taria), daughter Clarissa (Thomas), and daughter Stephanie; siblings, Josephine “Josie” Pesquiera (Alfred), Maria “Loli” Moreno (Juan Pedro), Ernesto Lopez (Dolores), and Marta Lopez (Mike Rawson), and brother in law, Victor Medrano; and 7 grandchildren, Domynic, Jacob, Iliana, Alexis, Isabelle, Lucas, and Madilyn, and many nieces & nephews, and cousins. 

Ruben will be missed deeply. All of our hearts are will rest easier knowing that he is in the arms of his parents in the Kingdom of God.
