Francisca G. Hernandez, “Mom” of Tucson, AZ unexpectedly passed away on February 6, 2023.

 

She was born on October 2, 1939, in a small town in Sonora, Mexico, and moved to Los Angeles, California.  After her husband passed away, she became a skilled machine operator and worked multiple jobs to raise her five small children, years later she would move to Tucson, Arizona.

 

Mom was truly a spectacular woman, who lit up every room she walked into.  Anyone who ever met her has multiple stories of her spirited and generous nature, her wit, her faith, and her selfless love.  She lived a beautiful and extraordinary life and loved her family endlessly!

 

She leaves behind two brothers, five children, three daughters-in-law, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, and extended family.

 

We will miss you more than you could ever imagine, Hasta el Ratito “Mom” - never say goodbye!

 

Services will be Friday, February 24, 2023, at Santa Monica Church at 212 W. Medina, Tucson AZ 85706. Rosary at 10am, Mass at 10:30am with viewing after the mass, and final resting place at South Lawn Cemetery at 1pm.
