Stephen (Steve) Lee Newman of Waimanalo, HI passed away in San Diego on January 21, 2023. 

Steve was born in Oakland, CA on JULY 1, 1956 to Fred Skidmore Newman and Rosiland Johnson. Steve spent most of his life pursuing his passion of food as a Sous Chef after beginning his cooking career as a tuna fisherman out of San Diego. 

He is survived by daughters Sarah and Amy Newman, four siblings and was predeceased by wife Annette Newman. 
 
Celebration of life will be held at the Newman family home on April 1, 2023 at noon.
