Sandra Lee Misket, 86, passed peacefully at her home in Danville, California. 

Sandy was born on June 7, 1936 in Michigan but grew up in Tampa, Florida where she graduated from Hillsborough High School in 1955. 

After raising her children; Sandy relocated to Danville, California where she began a new life and career. Sandy retired from Chevron, in San Ramon, at the age of 70 but her young mind & spirit told her she was not done yet so she worked at John Muir Hospital for another 5 years before finally retiring for good at the age of 75.

She was a loving mother to her four children and a wonderful friend to anyone who knew her. She lived life to the fullest and was always a ray of sunshine to anyone who met her. She could put a smile on anyone’s face and would be their best friend within the first 5 minutes of meeting her. 

Sandy cherished her family and friends, above all else. She also loved the beach and would often return to Florida, to spend time with her children and to bask in the sun on the beach with the sand between her toes.

Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, Albert & Florence Misket, her daughter Susan Lunsford and her grandson Kevin Finkbeiner. 

She is survived by her sons Brad Finkbeiner of Lutz, Florida and Dale (Eleanor) Finkbeiner of Land O Lakes, Florida; her daughter Sharon Pearson of Spring Hill, Florida and her grandson Austin Lunsford of Huntsville, Texas.
