"Lidia Palta went home to be with the Lord on January 25, 2022, after losing her battle with Covid-19.  Mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Lidia was loved by all who knew her and will be sorely missed by all.  She found Jesus at the age of 36 and continued to love and serve God until he called her home.  She taught many bible studies and shared her knowledge of the Bible and her love for the Lord to all who came in contact with her.
Lidia was born in Cordoba, Argentina to Italian parents and spoke three languages, Italian (her native tongue), Spanish and English.  She had a love of learning and, in particular, learning new words and their meanings.  Even though English was not her first language, through her love of crossword puzzles, she had a vocabulary second to none.  The first half of her adult life was spent as a housewife, taking care of her two daughters and running the household.  She later divorced and forged a life for herself with her eyes firmly upon the Lord and her relationship with God.  After a few years, she met her trusted friend, Tony, with whom she lived with until her passing.
Lidia is survived by her two daughters, six grandchildren, three great-grand children and life-long friends.  She was loved by her church community and will be missed by many.
