"Armin Aviles passed from this life into eternal life on May 31, 2022.
He passed away at the City of Hope Village under hospice care in Duarte, CA, from stage 4 pancreatic cancer. His loving sister, Maria Teresa, and his caring brother-in-law, Daryl, whom he liked to call brother, were at his side.
He was born to the late Danilo and Dolores (Loleng) Aviles, a Machinist Operator and a Homemaker, on June 21, 1959 in Manila, Philippines. The family immigrated to the US when Armin was just 7 years old. "
Armin accepted God as his Lord and Savior. Rest assured that in his dying, in his flight through darkness toward a new light, he held you in his arms and carried your closeness with him. And when he arrived at God, your image was imprinted on his joy-filled soul.
"Armin is survived by his sister, Maria Teresa, brother-in-law Daryl, and nephew Daniel. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Armin's cremated ashes will be buried at Forest Lawn in Cypress, CA, his Memorial service will be held at St. Pancratius church in Lakewood, CA; the date to be determined."
