Ronald Estle Spangler, 92  passed away peacefully on June 20, 2023 in San Jose, California.  

Ronald was born on Febuary 24, 1931 in Tacoma Washington.  He graduated High School and served his country in Korea, then graduated from Washington State University and pursued his career as a teacher and coach at Rolling Hills Junior High School in Los Gatos, CA.  Over the decades he became a neighborhood fixture, watching over the street and greeting everyone as he smoked his pipe in the garage.

Ronald will be missed by his son Brian F. (Eileen) Spangler, grandsons Nathan (Mary) and Tyler (Carly) Spangler, granddaughter Emilia, family, friends and neighbors.   He is predeceased by his wife, Barbara Marie Spangler and his son, Stuart Charles Spangler.

Per Ronald’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. In leu of flowers donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association in the memory of Stuart Charles Spangler.
