Laura Coyle

January 26, 1944 - December 28, 2020

Laura (Lolly) Coyle, Tucson, 76 years of age, passed on Monday, December 28, 2020 at her home surrounded by her husband and children. Lolly was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) in the summer of 2018 and waged a three-year battle against this horrible disease with strength, courage, and the constant love and support of her family.

Lolly was born January 26,1944 in Washington, PA to the late Harold and Rachel Scott and stepmother Marie Scott. She was the fourth of five children, two preceded her in death. Lolly grew up in Washington and moved to Tucson in 1954 where she lived the rest of her life and raised her family.

Lolly leaves her beloved husband, William Coyle of 44 years, her children, Kristie (David) Macosko, Debi Beatty, Charles (Mary) Hickman, and Cynthia Coyle and 8 grandchildren, Katrina Ross, Cally (Lincoln) Jones, Zachary Macosko, Tori Hickman (fiancé Nic Cisney), Trevor Beatty, Tana Hickman, Jade Olson, and Jakob Olson.

Lolly will be remembered as a warmhearted and caring woman who always put others first. For many years Lolly specialized in taking care of the elderly, providing support and comfort to them in their final years. She was also fiercely loyal to her family and was there to help in every way. She enjoyed being surrounded by her family, playing games and having a good laugh, but was sure to always keep everyone in line! As her family and friends trade stories in Lolly's memory, one common thread stays true: ``To know her was to
love her." The loss of constant comfort and friendship provided by Lolly will be a huge void in our lives, but we take comfort in knowing her battle with ALS has ended. Rest in Peace, Lolly, the suffering is finally over.

The family wishes to thank everyone for their support and sympathy over these last three exceedingly difficult years. Please help us fight this dreaded disease by contributing to the ALS Association (www.donateals.org) in the loving memory of Lolly.
