Arturo Morales, 71, of Chino Valley, Arizona, passed away on January 14, 2021 in Mesa.  He was born on December 2, 1949, in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico to Octavio & Trinidad(Barra) Morales.  Arturo moved to Arizona in 1995 and has worked as a welder and also an electrician.  He was known for his cooking, especially seafood, and was always willing to try new and different ways of preparing food.  Arturo also enjoyed the outdoors, loved fishing, boating, and had a passion for the beach.  Arturo was also a sports lover and had played fast-pitch softball for over 30 years, winning multiple awards for his pitching.  He was an avid fan of the Diamondbacks and Denver Broncos.  Arturo was dedicated to his family, always willing to do whatever he could to help his children.  He once rode a huge roller coaster, so his children wouldn’t have to ride alone.  His love for his family was very evident, and he will be missed greatly.

 

Arturo is survived by his wife, Patricia E Arguelles Conseco; 2 daughters, Patricia Bitnar and Karla Lizeth Arteaga; 2 sons, Guillermo Arturo Morales and Luis Angel Morales; and 9 grandchildren.

 

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at Avenidas Cremation & Burial, located at 1376 West Saint Mary’s Road in Tucson.
