Christopher Carl Lennard Sr.
Born on Nov. 14th 1976 and peacefully passed away Sept. 10th 2023
Christopher was born in Merced, Ca. In 1980, his family moved to the Corona/Riverside area which he called home from then on. He was a child from the earth and of the earth! He loved everything in the natural world: Animals, Flowers, Trees, Cacti, Shells, and ROCKs!!! Majestic Mountains and Vast Deserts always fascinated him; however, his favorite place to explore was always the Tide Pools at Corona Del Mar.
As an adult, he spent years honing his skills as a naturally gifted handyman. His favorite type of work was restoring old antique houses. He was a “people person”, always enjoying his time working for Ace Hardware on Kansas Ave. in Riverside and imparting his years of knowledge to customers. He was always referred to as “Smiley”! He would flash that smile often to everyone he encountered - even to unknowing strangers. You could not avoid that radiant grin he was so well known for.
His sudden death from a brain tumor left our family in shock and disbelief. The grief we are all feeling is overwhelming, yet, we should all find comfort that Christopher is now in the safest place in the WHOLE universe: Jehovah’s Memory.
He is survived by:
Two Sons: Christopher C. Lennard Jr. (Age 23) & Charlie M. Lennard (Age 18) (California)
Parents: Melvin and CarolAnn Lennard (California)
