David Franklyn Eckl of Valley Center, CA passed away in Bonita, CA on October 8, 2023.

BACKGROUND WORK HISTORY

David Franklyn Eckl was born in Rochester, NY on June 5, 1951 to Franklyn Eckl and Rita Koesterer Eckl He attended McQuaid Jesuit High School and Le Moyne College earning a bachelor's degree in English. He taught for a short period of time, and worked many years in the screen-printing field at Svecia USA, Murakami USA, Dorn Company, eventually owing his own company Orchid Graphics in Escondido, CA, continuing to serve the screen-printing industry in many, many facets. David was a subject matter expert regarding four color process and specialty printing, and his fascination with the industry was renown.

OTHER INTERESTS ACCOMPLISHMENTS

David was a proud lifetime member of the NRA and Second Amendment Foundation. He was a professional volunteer Santa Claus and enjoyed entertaining all ages for charity every year at Christmas- he was particularly proud of the fact that he did not need a fake beard. David had a deep love of animals and had adopted an elderly Percheron horse Ellie that he doted on.


SURVIVORS

David is survived by his first wife Barbara, his second wife Cynthia, his children Joshua, Baliey and Sophia, and his grandson Kaden, and was predeceased by his father Franklyn and mother Rita.
