Keith Simpson
Today we remember and celebrate Josephine Helen Delgado Guadalupe, who was born on March 19, 1935, in Garden City, Kansas to Manuel and Maria Delgado. She passed away peacefully on October 10th, 2023 in Concord California at the age of 88.
Josephine was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and Aunt. She lived a full and complex life, like many of us do but will be remembered for her zest for life, devotion to family, and love for her children and all her grand and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her entire family of origin and her son Brian Archuleta.
She is survived by her adult children: Darrell Archuleta, Shelly Tufunga, Sabra Archuleta-Poston, Caroline Archuleta Simpson, and Jeffrey Archuleta. Her grand children: Trina Valdez, Kristen Pratt, Jeffrey Archuleta, Kyle Simpson, Justin Archuleta-Simpson, Sylvia Moffet, Greylyn Nolan, Stacie Archuleta, Diego Archuleta-Poston and Olivia Archuleta-Poston. Great grandchildren: Kyra Archuleta, Xander Simpson, Jackson Pratt, Walker Pratt, David Nolan, Ava Nolan, Zi Aire Archuleta-Poston, and Za Miri Archuleta-Poston. Also, many in-laws and extended Delgado family nieces and nephews.
Josephine's legacy will live on forever through the lives of those who loved her most dearly. A private funeral service will take place at a later date where we can all honor Josephine's memory together as a family with love in our hearts. Burial service will be announced at a later date; thank you.
