Michael Jeffrey Deuell of Santa Rosa, CA passed away at home on September 22, 2023 after a long illness with kidney disease.
Michael was born in Buffalo, New York on November 7, 1962 to William and Joanne Deuell (Royster). He attended Clayton Valley High School. He worked in construction sales for most of his career, holding various positions at A1 Doors & Building Solutions, The French Door Store, and Volheim Construction to name a few.
Michael most enjoyed fishing and his time spent at Lake Almanor. He took trips to the ocean to go crabbing, and the Oregon coast to fish for salmon. Yet he most loved spending time with family, his two children Jerrik and Colin and his two grandkids Deigan and Brooklyn.
He is survived by his mother Joanne Royster, father and step-mother Bill and Nancy Deuell, brother Bill Deuell (Aprelle), sister Diane Wolfe (Steve), sister Donna Baum (Jay), and his children Jerrik Deuell, Colin Deuell and his grandkids Diegan and Brooklyn Deuell, and nephews and nieces Keelen and Jordan Wolfe, Ellie Deuell, Ryan and Jake Baum, and was pre-deceased by his step-father Robert Royster.
Michael will be laid to rest at his beloved fishing spot at Lake Almanor on his 62nd birthday, November 7, 2023. He will always be remembered for his infectious smile and will forever be in our hearts.
