A rebel without a cause - shot to heaven with lighting in his eyes and fire in his veins on October 27, 2023 at home in Marina, Ca. His daughter and her mother by his side. A man that we thought would survive the apocalypse.
Born in Santa Clara, Ca. to Mary Ann Conley (Snow) and Vernon Jerry Conley Sr. He grew up in Carmel Valley and that is where his heart stayed forever. The family moved to Monterey when he was a teen and he graduated from Monterey High School in 1972.
Through life Beany spent his time in Carmel Valley plastering, hunting, fishing, partying, cooking and BBQing. Raising his daughter, watching the 49ers, Raiders, Oakland A’s and Giants were his favorite. In the latter part of his life he loved reminiscing and telling stories of the good’ol days, watching The Price is Right with Ben and sharing heart to hearts with Sharon. His absolute favorite things though, were his girls. His daughter Stacey, and granddaughters Ellie & Khloe. Spending time with Bun, Peanut Bag, and Screech. Cooking them meals, and making them laugh brought him so much joy. Beany will be missed beyond words by all that knew and loved him. He was, and always will be legend.
Beany was preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by his sister Camille (Thomas), daughter Stacey (Charlie), step daughters Rachel, and Grace. Grandchildren Ellie, Khloe, Michael, and Grayson.
In true “Beany” style an Afterparty will be held on November 11, 2023 beginning at the Monterey Center for Spiritual Living at 1pm and concluding at the Running Iron in Carmel Valley afterwards.
