**Robert P. Cross: A Life Remembered**

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Robert P. Cross, a cherished member of the Fresno community, who left us on December 26, 2023.

Robert was born on May 31, 1965, in Fresno, California, to George and Linda Cross. Robert  was a proud graduate of Clovis High School, class of '84.

From his early days in the restaurant industry to his time as a union apprentice ironworker, he demonstrated an innate ability to work with his hands. This skill was further showcased in his role at a wood milling company in the Bay Area, where he combined craftsmanship with artistic flair.

But it was outside of work where Robert truly shined. A passionate guitarist, his love for music was not just a hobby, but a way of life, reflected in his extensive collection of vinyl records.

An avid fisherman, Robert found peace and solitude in the serenity of nature. His fishing trips were not just about the catch, but about the reflective and introspective moments by the water.

A lifelong fan of the Oakland Raiders, Robert’s enthusiasm for his team was known to those close to him.

Robert’s interests were many and varied, from coin and comic book collecting to spending quality time with his family during the holidays.

Robert will be remembered for his skilled hands, his love of music, and his unwavering dedication to his family and friends. Although he did not own many material goods, his family continually experienced his unwavering generosity through the gifts he gave.

Robert is survived by his mother Linda, father and step mother George and Jill, his brother and sister-in-law Tom and Ruth, and his nephews Samuel and Paul Cross.

Rest in peace, Robert P. Cross. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
