DEBORAH VOSS
Lisa Voss
George Voss (69) passed on March 1, 2024 in Woodland, Ca after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
George was born October 13, 1954 in Fort Benning, Georgia, The son of the late Henry Voss and Carol Voss. George is survived by his three children; Lisa Voss , Tyrel Voss and Daniel Voss along with 8 grandchildren and his 4 siblings Carolyn Damas, Kathy Weststeyn, Annmarie Hendryx and Charles Voss.
George was an avid reader and loved history. He studied California history and enjoyed the history of the railroads, the gold rush days and cowboys. One of his favorite hobbies was reenacting history and he was very active in Civil War reenacting as a member of the American Civil War Association in Northern California.
As a member of a farming family, in his youth he was a member of 4-H and FFA in San Jose. George was a Peach grower and an Almond grower and he so enjoyed being on the farm talking to everyone about just about everything, farming or otherwise.
George is truly missed.
The Celebration of Life for George will be held at Alfonso's Mexican Restaurant in Ceres California on March 23, 2024 at 2pm
In Lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made to the Alzheimer's association:
