Wayne Jenkins, age 88, long time resident of Duarte, passed away on March 1, 2024 in Corona, CA.  Born July 21, 1935 in Chicago, he moved to Los Angeles in 1941 and the family settled in the Mt. Washington area of Los Angeles.  Wayne was the owner of "Wayne the Bike Man" bicycle shop in the city of San Gabriel for many years.  He was preceeded in death by his wife, Amelia "Molly" (2012), son Wayne (2001), and daughter Vickie Rasmussen (2014). He is survived by a daughter, Laura Miller, sons Jeffrey Jenkins and Brian Jenkins, 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Burial to be at Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier with his wife, Molly.  Wayne loved his cat, Sweetie.  You may donate to your local animal shelter in Wayne's memory.
