DEATH IS NOT THE END OF MY LIFE, IT'S JUST THE BEGINNING, AMEN!!!!
It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my beloved mother Melody J. Hudgins on Saturday March, 23, 2024 her 77th birthday. She passed away peacefully at her residence in Long Beach, California after a long battle with Alzheimer's Dementia. She was born on March 23, 1947 in Wyndotte, Michigan to Kenneth A. Davidson and Ruth Joann Cunningham. She is preceded in death by her parents and younger brother George Davidson. Melody was married to Frank E. Hudgins for 51 years and is survived by her husband, her sister Marilyn and her husband Rodrigo Camacho of California City ,CA her brother Kenneth Davidson of California City, CA, her 3 children Teresa Diane Hudgins of Long Beach, CA, Melissa Renee Hudgins of Long Beach, CA, Anthony Edward Hudgins and his wife Alyssa Hudgins of Fullerton, CA, by her 7 grandchildren Daniel Hudgins and his wife Puspita Hudgins of Lake Elsinore, CA, Monique Renee Hudgins of California City, CA, Stephanie Joann Hudgins, David Allan Hudgins, Joseph Manuel Hudgins of Reedley, Ca Natalie Rose Donini of La Mirada, CA, and Luka Jolie Hudgins of Fullerton, CA by her 4 Great Grandchildren William Abraham Hudgins and Carissa Medina Hudgins of Lake Elsinore, CA, and Destiny and Gabriel Hudgins of California City, CA and by her several nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends. Melody was a member of Westside Christian Church in Long Beach, CA where she was involved in several ministries throughout the years but one ministry that was dear to her heart was the music ministry. She loved singing to and praising God and found peace singing in the choir, the worship praise band and singing solos for special music at her church. Our grandmother Ruth Joann must of known her daughter was going to excel in music and singing that's probably why she named her Melody. My mother Melody had a beautiful soprano voice almost like an angelic opera singer. She is now part of God's choir and I am sure she is singing everyday, walking hand in hand with Jesus, with her mother, grandmother her brother and all her loved ones and friends who have passed watching down over us and protecting us all as our new beloved guardian angel. Until we see each other again, do not grieve for me, do not be sad or cry for me, for death is not the end of my life it's just the beginning for I will live forever more in the kingdom of heaven with my father, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is not good bye it's until we see each other again, Amen!!!
