Vicky Lynn Rusch, mother to Clayton Rusch and Brittany Rusch, passed away on March 23, 2024 after her battle with cancer. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home in San Leandro, California with her children by her side. Vicky’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing.

Known for her selflessness and passion for the arts, Vicky will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was a member of the San Leandro Art Association. Her hobbies and interests included family, painting, collaging, gardening, training her dog, and spending time on the farm. She was born February 28, 1950, in Huron Township, MI to Victor Stewart and Gladys Wolhfiel. She is survived by her siblings, Hattie, Jack, Russell, and Mark; her son, Clayton Rusch and his spouse, Melissa Rusch, her daughter, Brittany Rusch and her boyfriend, La’Don Solomon, and grandchildren, Anna Rusch, Chloe Rusch, Kylie Rusch, Antonio Burgos-Rusch, her great grandchildren, and her dog, Basil.

Vicky’s son and daughter-in-law, Clayton and Melissa Rusch, are organizing a celebration of life memorial on April 27th at their home in Fowlerville, MI, and invite those with fond memories, stories, or keepsakes of Vicky.
