Kelly Sue Hassman of Westminster, Colorado was escorted to her eternal rest in Lafayette, Colorado on May 20th, 2024 while at Good Samaritan hospital.

BACKGROUND WORK HISTORY

Kelly was born in Denver, Colorado on June 11th, 1965 to her parents Richard Arnold Sibley and Judith Jean Clarke. She attended Centaurus high school in Lafayette, Colorado graduating in 1983. She was employed at King Soopers in Boulder where she met her husband Troy of nearly 32 blessed years. They resided in Broomfield, Colorado for 13 years where they were blessed with and raised their two wonderful children Justin and Brittany. They moved to Westminster, Colorado in 2003 after purchasing their forever home together at which time she was employed at Safeway. 


Kelly enjoyed time with her family and her dogs, word games and puzzles, movies and music. She was the number one collector of Precious Moments figurines and loved to visit the Precious Moments Chapel while in Missouri. She had a dream to one day have a home with some property where she could have horses, fainting goats and donkeys and a place for her dogs. Some of her favorite movies were Just Mercy and Creed. She enjoyed Toby Mac, Mercy Me along with Garth Brooks, George Strait and Rick Springfield. 

She was adamant about birthdays and holidays making sure that everyone was always remembered. Christmas was her favorite time of all. Kelly and her family attended Flatirons community church and she held her faith in high esteem always putting Jesus first. Kelly was a beautiful person and had a way that you could not help but love. Her smile and her laugh were contagious and she always held others needs and interests before her own. Kelly was an amazing wife, mom and friend. She was such a joy and blessing to all who knew her and is greatly missed and will never be forgotten. 

SURVIVORS

Kelly leaves her husband Troy, son Justin, daughter Brittany, brother Scott, sister in law Jaquie and her Mom Judy along with her Mother and Father in law Peggy and Mike who also loved her dearly and Brother in law Brent and sister in law Dee. She also had several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her Dad Rich, stepdad Doug and her Grandparents.
