Beverly A Sanks Obituary
CALIFORNIA-- Beverly A. Sanks, 70, passed from this life at 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at San Antonio Hospital in Upland, CA.

She was born on September 19, 1953, in Lima, Ohio, to Richard and Catherine (Dukes) Sanks. 

Beverly, loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed entrepreneurship, IE Divas, and mentoring/advocacy.

She leaves behind to cherish her precious memories a son, Aaron (Kutinna) Sanks; grandchildren, LaDale Sanks, of Los Angeles, CA; Ayrian Sanks of Seattle, Wa.; Aaron (Brittany) Sanks, of Columbus, OH. Britney Johnson, of Atlanta, GA.; Dianne Parker, of Douglasville, GA; Alanna Sanks, of Columbus, OH;  Destani Tarrant and Ashley Tarrant, of Lima OH; Mariah Mathis, of Lima, OH; a brother, Ricardo Shears, of Lima, OH. 

A special thanks goes out to cousin Dr. Beverly Sanks-Guidry. 
Special acknowledgement to Dr. Wong and his team for the care and compassion provided.

She is proceeded in death by two brothers, Roosevelt (Rosie) Dean; Robert (Bobby) Howton; and a bonus,  grandson, Mario Mathis.

DON’T FRET OR BE AFRAID OF WHERE SHE HAS GONE YOU KNOW SHE WAS A FORMER FASHION MODEL, OSU STUDENT, OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR, AND ENTREPRENEUR. RAISED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF LIMA AND LATER BECOMING A CALIFORNIAN ALL OF US HAVE SPECIAL MEMORIES OF BEVERLY THAT BEAUTIFUL SMILE, YES, A BELIEVER, HELPFUL AND MENTOR WHO WAS FORGIVING MAYBE YOU MET HER IN LAS VEGAS OR VISITED HER IN ONTARIO OR MIRA LOMA I REMEMBER A SPRING ROAD-TRIP FROM OHIO TO CALI MY TEENAGE SONS WERE SO EXCITED TO SEE THEIR CUZ AND SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA BEVERLY DID NOT DISAPPOINT, SHE TOOK US TO SANTA MONICA BEACH, HOLLYWOOD, THE LARGEST INDOOR SHOPPING MALL IN CALI AND MORE. OH, AND HER FAVORITE FAST-FOOD RESTAURANT THE IN-N-OUT BURGER! YOU KNOW SHE HAD A GREAT PERSONALITY AND TREATED EVERYONE WITH RESPECT AND KINDNESS. ALL THE EMPLOYEES AT THE SECOND-HAND STORE AND MAYOR OF ONTARIO KNEW HER BY FIRST NAME. WHAT REALLY STANDS OUT ABOUT BEVERLY IS SOMETHING THAT FEW CHILDREN DO HER MOM TOOK SICK AND REFUSED TO HAVE SURGERY BEVERLY SAID MOM COME LIVE WITH ME IN CALI AND I WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU. HER MOM (MY AUNT) SAID OK AND SPENT HER REMAINING YEARS IN SUNNY CALI SHE LOVED LIVING IN CALI AND SITTING OUTSIDE ON THE PATIO ALMOST YEAR-ROUND. I WILL MISS CUZ AND OUR REGULAR PHONE CALLS AND TEXT MESSAGES HEY, IT’S BEVERLY, JUST CHECKING IN, GIVING AN UPDATE ON AARON AND TINA OR THE GRANDKIDS. SHE WAS VERY PROUD OF YOU ALL AND WE ARE GOING TO MISS HER. BEVERLY IS HANGING OUT WITH THE ANGELS IN HEAVEN AND MAKING NEW FRIENDS.

Kutinna Sanks Beverly was so much more to me than just a mother-in-law. She was a friend and confidant. I'm going to miss her. Rest easy Bev until we meet again. It's never goodbye it's I'll see you later.

Maggie Latimer Beverly was so much more than a next door neighbor. She was a bright light in our family and a friend I will forever cherish. The laughs over coffee, the heart-to-heart talks, and her love and support of our kids as they grew meant the world to me. Beverly was kind, generous, and hilarious! I will never forget her beautiful smile and the joy it brought. "BevMo" is forever in my heart. Rest in Power, Bev.
