Kaytlin Faith Munkholm of Forest Lake Mn passed away at home on August 10th, 2024.
Kaytlin was born at St John's Hospital on June 1st, 2005, to Todd and Jenette Munkholm.
We spent the first 15 years of her life living in Stacy, MN where she attended Linwood Elementary School. In the 4th grade we enrolled her in musical theater. She found a love for singing, dancing and some gymnastics. She was a lovely performer and had such a beautiful voice. She performed in Peter Pan Jr, Mulan Jr, and Alice in Wonderland Jr. Thru Childrens Performing Arts. In the 5th Grade she received one of the leading roles in her school musical, At the Bandstand.
In 7th grade we moved to Forest Lake which allowed her to participate in more activities. Her love for tumbling found her crafting her gymnastics skills. She was also a part of the Ranger aquatics program and spent a lot of time in the pool and became a strong swimmer. She joined the high school swim team in 7th grade after taking a summer dive camp. She worked really hard and became a beautiful diver, even taking 1st place in JV Conference. In the spring of that year, she joined the Synchronized Swim team and again, worked really hard and became a lovely artist swimmer.
She made so many wonderful friends during this time. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for her friends. They loved her and she loved them back.
Kaytlin also had a tremendous love for animals. Cats, dogs, birds snakes. Big or small she loved them all. Among her favorites were her dog Abby, her cat Tinker and her bearded Dragon Mushu. She had a love like no other for the puppy that she got for her sister. His name is Douglas. Her love for him was so strong and she missed him so much when Jordyn moved away to Indiana.
Kaytlin is survived by her parents Todd and Jenette Munkholm and her sister Jordyn of Forest Lake. Her grandparents Lee and Jean Schaefer of Forest Lake and Sharon and Gary Paulson of Roseville. Also, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
She is preceded in death by her Grandparents Tom and Deb Munkholm of Roseville Mn. Her pets Chaser, Randy, Hannah and Sabre (her first bearded dragon)
We will miss her every day, until we can be reunited. Until then she will watch over us, here on earth.
